PHOENIX — MTX Audio released new earbuds and Bluetooth speakers in its Margaritaville Audio product line.
MTX partnered in 2014 with musician Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, which operates hotels, resorts, casinos, and restaurants and sells Margaritaville-branded merchandise. The Margaritaville Audio lineup includes headphones, ear buds and personal speakers.
“The two American-born brands have created a simple, fun and functional line of audio products that stay committed to music, quality and an island state of mind,” MTX said.
The latest products include the $39.95 retail Sound Shot pocket-size portable Bluetooth speaker in Margarita- Lime and Black-Sand finishes. The IPX7-rated waterproof speaker Sound Shot also incorporates FM radio and a remote control to control smartphone cameras.
The new $99.95 retail Beach Boombox is a Bluetooth speaker with carry handle, FM and MicroSD card slot. The $149 retail Concert Caddy is a weather-resistant Bluetooth speaker that includes an 8,000 mAh power bank for charging devices. A built-in beverage bag accommodates two beverage bottles.
The new $69.95 retail Sports Buds are weather-resistant in-ear Bluetooth headphones designed for active users. They feature IPX6 weather-resistance rating and are available in white or black.
