Phoenix — MTX Audio has expanded its ThunderForm line of vehicle-specific enclosures to now include Scion TC model years 2011 to 2013.
The company said it was the first time they had introduced a ThunderForm enclosure for an import car in several years. They are billed as providing a custom-fit subwoofer solution that minimizes the installation space required in a vehicle.
Three configurations will be available: amplified, loaded and unloaded. The amplified version (STC11FB10A-TN) includes an integrated amplifier and single 200-watt RMS 10-inch Terminator-series subwoofer. The loaded version (STC11FB10-TN) has a single 200-watt RMS 10-inch Terminator-series subwoofer that works with any amplifier. The unloaded version (STC11FB10U) fits a single 10-inch subwoofer.
All three install in the trunk on the passenger side, and all three ship with the necessary installation hardware. Pricing wasn’t given.
