MSE Audio Promotes Laura Waldon To President

Waldon had served as finance and administration VP of the Phase Technology parent.

Laura Waldon has been promoted to president of MSE Audio, the Kansas-based manufacturer of premium speakers for the residential and commercial markets.

Waldon, formerly finance and administration VP, is credited with “facilitating our expansion through both acquisitions and internal growth,” said CEO Chris Combest.

Indeed, the company, founded in 1995 with the sole Induction Dynamics brand, has since acquired Phase Technology, Rockustics, Soundsphere and SoundTube Entertainment, and developed a second in-house badge, SolidDrive.

Waldon, a CPA by training, joined the diversified business in 2005 as accounting manager, and has “effectively managed many departments within our companies during her tenure,” Combest said.

In addition to audio oversight, Waldon serves as GM of the company’s Marquee Selections wine importing unit and as VP of MS Properties, its property management operation.
