Mad Catz, the gaming accessory company mounting a bankruptcy comeback, announced it’s secured an exclusive distribution agreement with Verbatim.
Under the terms of the deal, Verbatim will distribute the full line of Mad Catz products across North and South America. Products are expected to begin shipping this fall.
Mad Catz filed for bankruptcy in the spring of 2017, and then announced in January of this year that it was under new ownership. It is now a privately owned company, known as Mad Catz Global, comprised of several former design and factory employees, according to a company spokesman.
It sold its Tritton gaming audio brand to Silkysea International Limited in July.
