Lilin Adds 360° Security Camera

Arcadia, Calif. – Security camera resource Lilin North America launched Friday a high-speed pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) IP dome camera.

The Lilin IPS4204S ($3,329 suggested) is a 360-degree surveillance video camera featuring a long-range 20x optical zoom lens (4.7 to 94 mm) and 12x digital zoom.

It includes a 3-megapixel CMOS image sensor capable of capturing HD quality 360-degree surveillance video of large outdoor areas, such as parking lots or school yards, or to focus on small targets in extreme high detail, such as facial features or license plate numbers.

The camera uses H.264 video compression to enable streaming up to Full HD 1080p video at up to 30fps, suitable for even very low bandwidth network applications.

The camera has a weatherproof IP66-rating and is protected against dust and rain, eliminating the need and expense of an external housing.

Lilin said the camera is suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from -40 degrees to 122-degrees and includes an internal heater/cooler.

The camera offers true day/night capability using an IR cut filter, and an on-board Micro SD card slot is provided for recording backup during network outages.

Lilin said the camera makes complete 360-degree rotations to follow specific activity and zoom in when greater detail is required.

The Lilin IPS4204S ships with free CMX central management software including EPOS connectivity and database searching. CMX will scan a network for all active IP cameras, and users can view, record and manage up to 36 channels of video recordings without any attached license fees.
