Klipsch introduced a line of on-wall TV speakers under its Reference line.
The Reference Premiere Designer on-wall speakers consists of four models. The RP-140D, RP-240D and RP-640D can be used as left, center, right or surround speakers, while the RP-440D SB is a three-channel passive soundbar.
Each speaker includes four-way keyholes for horizontal or vertical wall mounting, as well as a glass base that can be attached for tabletop placement. The speakers feature smooth lines, slim cabinets and matte-black painted finishes that are designed to match the thin bezels of contemporary TVs.
Other features include Tractrix Horn technology that’s engineered to improve high-frequency response and extension; a Linear Travel Suspension titanium tweeter that Klipsch said maximizes dynamics; and the company’s signature copper Cerametallic woofers that minimize distortion.
