Klipsch Aggressive In Soundbars

Klipsch is ramping up its soundbar stance with the launch of five new models to complement its current $399 R-4B.

All five will be the company’s first with HDMI inputs and outputs, and three will be the company’s first with wireless multiroom audio. Those three will use DTS’s Play-Fi wireless multiroom technology. The three will also use an optional pair of compact Klipsch Play-Fi speakers as surrounds.

Most of the new bars will feature three HDMI inputs, and most will feature HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 copy protection.

One premium model will be less than 3-inches-tall and will be finished in real walnut, ebony wood and aluminum with a matching sub.

Shipments will roll out starting in the spring and throughout the year.
