Burlingame, Calif. -- JunoPower is adding a new twist on portable power by solving two common problems -- a dead phone and a dead car battery -- with one device.

The Jumpr is a lightweight portable rechargeable lithium polymer 6,000 mAh battery pack that delivers a 12-volt power output at a peak of 300 amps, enough to jump start a completely dead battery in almost any 4- and 6-cylinder car or motorcycle. An included proprietary jumper cable connects to the device's 12-volt, 150-300 amp port. It also features a separate 5-volt, 2.1-amp output to charge portable devices and a built-in LED flashlight.

It weighs 7 ounces and its metallic blue casing has a 5.5 by 3 by 0.6-inch footprint.

Jumpr charges via Micro USB or 12-volt port with the included cables.

“We all know what it feels like to get caught with a dead car battery; you could be stuck waiting around for hours for a tow truck or friend to arrive. The Jumpr is a simple to use solution that gets you back on the road in minutes" said JunoPower CEO Dennis Lee. "Travelers no longer need to worry about lugging around a 10-20 pound battery jumper, or tirelessly searching for a wall outlet if their phone dies on-the-go.

The Jumpr will retail for $89.99; but pre-orders placed by May 1 at JunoPower.com are $69.99.

Information on distribution opportunities is available at www.JunoPower.com or dealers can email: sales@junopower.com.
