InstallerNet Expands at Amazon

North Andover,
Mass. – InstallerNet, which coordinates a network of 3,000 home and car audio
installers across the country, will now provide home entertainment installation for Amazon.com.

InstallerNet has
already provided car stereo installation services for Amazon since October 2008
and is now adding home entertainment service.

InstallerNet sells
gift-card-like “InstallCards” that may be used towards the installation of home
entertainment or car electronics products at one of the independently owned
installers that participate in its network. The installation of products such
as car radios and home theater systems is performed at a set price.

The cards may be
purchased simultaneously with a home or car stereo that will require
installation. Walmart, Costco, RadioShack, Crutchfield and Target also sell
InstallCards.

InstallerNet is
raising its profile in car electronics as the company announced
last month
it will purchase the car stereo trade group Mobile Enhancement
Retailers Association (MERA), pending a vote by MERA members.

InstallerNet also recently
hired
former NEC Technologies president and COO Bob Byrnes as sales and
marketing senior VP, and it purchased
Victory Technology
last October.

At Amazon, the
InstallCard will be offered to consumers along with applicable consumer
electronics products. Select branded InstallCards will also be available to
those purchasing companion products, including Autonet Mobile Wi-Fi, Parrot
Bluetooth car kits and Sirius XM satellite radio.
