Ingram CE Builds Bikes For Charity

Scottsdale, Ariz. — Ingram Micro’s Consumer Electronics division (IMCE) hosted its quarterly All Hands meeting last week.

At the meeting Ingram Micro staffers worked to help the local community by building bicycles that were later donated to children in need.

In partnership with Team Dynamics, a team-building activity facilitator, IMCE donated the bicycles to Every Kid Counts, a Phoenix-based charity that supports local children by providing educational, athletic and philanthropic programs. Children that are supported by this organization were on-site to receive their donations, IMCE said.

Associates were proud and touched to be a part of this event. Dan Halaburda, sales director, stated, “It feels great to be able to give back to our local community. Those kids were so excited to get their new bikes.”

Tim Coakley, vendor management and marketing, commented VP, “The IMCE family continues to support our corporate social responsibility commitment through charitable donations like this. Our team is happy to work together to make a difference in these kids’ lives.”
