Voxx’s Lane Departure Warning System minimizes accidents by addressing the main causes of collisions: driver error, distractions and drowsiness. Its built-in DVR records your driving, route, and any event that you may have witnessed or been involved in.
The system uses the latest optical recognition technology to recognize traffic lane markings as well as vehicles in front of you. It warns drivers with an audible tone when the vehicle begins to move out of its lane on a freeway or arterial roads when traveling at 35 mph and up, unless a turn signal is blinking in the direction of the departure. The system also warns of vehicles that are suddenly too close for safety in front of you when driving at 15 mph and up.
