The Gateway 7200, 5200 and 3200 series are configure to order, like all the firm’s direct models, and bring a good, better, best offering to consumers.

The high-end 7200 Series, with suggested prices ranging between $1,249 and $1,449 depending upon configuration, uses an Intel Pentium 4 540 processor with HyperThreading technology running at 3.2GHz, 512MB of DDR SDRAM, 200GB hard drive, double-layer, dual-format DVD burner, and a 16x DVD-ROM drive. The midpriced 5200 Series is priced between $849 and $949. The higher-end configuration features an Intel 530 processor with HyperThreading technology running at 3.20GHz, 120GB hard drive, an Intel Graphic Media accelerator 900 and the same DVD burner as the 7200.

The entry-level 3200, $599 suggested retail price, has an Intel 505 processor running at 2.66GHz, 256MB of DDR SDRAM, 40GB hard drive, 48x CD-ROM drive and a 17-inch CRT monitor is bundled.
