First Line Of Smart 4K TVs Coming From Polaroid Brand

The first Ultra HD smart TVs bearing the Polaroid brand are turning up at CES with availability planned in the spring.

More than a year ago, the Polaroid brand launched its first U.S. 4K Ultra HD TVs in the 40- and 55-inch screen sizes.

The new 4K LED TVs come in 40-, 43-, 48-, 50-, 55-, and 65-inch sizes, all with three HDMI inputs, 120Hz refresh rates, 4K streaming apps, and an upgraded design. Additional details were unavailable.

They will join existing 4K TVs in 40-, 48-, 55-, and 65- inch screen sizes at $399, $499, $699, and $999. They all feature LED backlighting with local dimming.

The Polaroid brand and related IP are owned by PLR IP Holdings, and Empire Electronics is the Polaroid licensee for TVs in the U.S.
