Evine 1st To Sell Polaroid’s Chromecast TVs

Empire Electronics announced its new Polaroid-licensed 4K Ultra HD Chromecast-enabled smart TVs are currently available through Evine.

Evine, the home shopping retailer formerly known as ValueVision, is the first retailer to offer the line, which will be offered in 43-, 49-, 55-, 65- and 75-inch screen sizes. Pricing will range from $499 to $1,999.

The TVs feature 3840 by 2160 resolution with 120Hz refresh rates and HDMI 2.0 inputs. Built-in Chromecast enables users to stream and control content from another Chromecast-enabled mobile device.

“We’re excited to be working closely with Google to bring our first 4K UHD connected TV line to consumers,” said Scott W. Hardy, Polaroid president/CEO. “By teaming up with a company such as Google, we are able to offer consumers the latest in TV technology so they can easily share and enjoy their favorite content, and more importantly, deliver tremendous value to those looking to upgrade to a higher-resolution.”
