Long Beach, Calif. -- Epson introduced Wednesday its PowerLite 1930 projector for small- to medium-sized venues including hotel or conference rooms, classrooms and houses of worship.

The $999 suggested retail PowerLite 1930 offers 4,200 lumens of color brightness and 4,200 lumens of white brightness. Features include multi-PC projection, split screen capability for presentation flexibility, and diverse digital connectivity options including HDMI and DisplayPort.

He added that the projector delivers “high brightness and an advanced feature set, including HDMI connectivity. The PowerLite 1930 projector displays powerful, true-to-life images in virtually any setting at an affordable price.”

The projector offers XGA resolution and includes Faroudja DCDI video processing built-in for smooth video images.

The PowerLite 1930 also offers automatic vertical and horizontal keystoning and Quick Corner for easy set up. 

All PowerLite 1900 Series projectors also include DICOM Simulation Mode4 specialized imaging which uses standardized grayscale to reproduce medical images, such as x-rays, for medical training and education; image adjustment and movie reproduction for  Gamma and RGB; network monitoring and control; and use with the Epson iProjection app for Apple devices running iOS 4.2 or later, or Android devices running Android 2.3 or later.

All Epson projectors feature 3-chip 3LCD technology with three times brighter colors than leading competitive projectors, Epson said.
