Corning, N.Y. — Corning said Monday it has received three Telly Awards for its Thunderbolt Optical Cables By Corning video.
The video received the 2014 Bronze People’s Telly Award for a Commercial or Marketing Piece, and two Telly Awards for the business-to-customer campaign and art direction categories.
The video, titled “Cables Just Got Better,” demonstrates how Corning’s all-optical Thunderbolt fiber cables use light to connect computers and devices at high speed and over long distances.
Corning said the video was one in a five-part series created to show Optical Cables by Corning are longer, up to 50 percent thinner, up to 80 percent lighter, and stronger than their equivalent copper counterparts.
