Clarion Promotion Targets Consumers, Dealers, Distributors

Cypress, Calif. — Clarion launched a promotion that simultaneously targets consumers, retailers and distributors.

The tri-level sales and marketing program, called “The Sizzling Summer Promotions Program,” includes a consumer mail-in rebate for select in-dash navigation and multimedia head units and for select SRG speakers. The program also provides authorized dealers with incentives to purchase select Clarion models during the promotion, and it provides the sales staffs of authorized distributors with incentives to help them promote the program to retailers that purchase the products through the distribution channel.

The consumer rebate portion of the program runs from June 16 to Sept. 14. Eligible products must be purchased between those dates. Rebate forms will be accepted through Oct. 14. The rebate provides consumers who purchase any Clarion in-dash navigation system with a $100 Visa gift card. People buying the VX404 in-dash multimedia system get a $50 gift card. Consumers buying select SRG speakers will be eligible for a $10 gift card for each model.

The dealer and distributor incentives are designed to support the sale of the products and are valid from June 16 to Aug. 17. Incentive details are available to Clarion dealers and distributors through Clarion’s retail sales organization.

To qualify for the mail-in rebate, consumers must fill out a form online, email it to Clarion, or print a copy and fax it to the company. Proof of purchase must accompany the form, including a copy of the receipt and the original UPC label from the product package. The maximum number of rebates per household is two.

“We rarely have the opportunity to engage Clarion dealers, distributors and end-use consumers together at the same time,” said Frank Pierce, retail sales VP for Clarion Corp. America.
