Four new small flat-panel mounts help debut the Q2 Mounting System from Chief Manufacturing.
The four include the FSM Static Wall Mount, FPM Pitch-Adjustable Wall Mount, FSP Single Display Pole Mount and FDP Dual Display Pole Mount.
Chief calls its Q2 Mounting System the next generation of its Q-Latch Mounting System for large flat-panel displays. Q2 boasts ease of installation, stable mounting, optional security and value-added features such as portrait/landscape mounting and built-in lateral/vertical shift.
Chief’s proprietary Q2 Mounting System makes flat-panel mounting exceptionally user-friendly, claims the company. Self-aligning mating components, a steel latch and optional security accessory allow a display to be easily guided, latched and locked to the mount.
The FSM Static Wall Mount is the most economical solution for wall mounting small flat panels. At a $79 suggested retail, the unit holds displays close to the wall for an exceptionally slim appearance. It provides portrait or landscape mounting, single wall stud or drywall installation options and 1 inch of vertical or lateral shift.
The FPM Pitch-Adjustable Wall Mount is one step up from the basic wall mount. It provides rigid pitch adjustment to help achieve the perfect viewing angle, allows pitch to be set for stable touch screen use and maintains a low profile depth of 1.5 inch. Suggested retail is $99.
An alternative to wall mounting, the FSP Single Display Pole Mount allows small flat panel displays to be mounted from the ceiling or the floor on any 1.5-inch to 2-inch diameter pole. For a suggested $149 retail in black, or $159 in silver, it features adjustable attachment to vertical or horizontal poles.
The FDP Dual Display Pole Mount, a unique solution for mounting two small flat panels back-to-back, allows small flat-panel displays to be mounted from the ceiling or the floor on any 1.5-inch to 2-inch diameter pole. Suggested retail is $199 in black, or $209 in silver.
