Audio-Technica is heading to CES 2019 with a new spin on an old favorite.

The company will bring its new ATH-M50xBT model to the show, first introduced in October. Audio-Technica has added Bluetooth to its M-series of closed-back headphones, which feature 45mm large-aperture drivers, said to deliver a 15-28kHz frequency range. Rare-earth magnets and Audio-Technica’s copper-clad aluminum wire voice coils are the same as those used in the original ATH-M50x.

The ATH-M50xBT utilizes Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with AptX and AAC codecs. An internal battery provides up to 40 hours on a full charge, and they can also be used in wired mode.

Design details include a fold-flat design with 90-degree swiveling ear cups, cushioned ear pads and headband, and on-ear controls. A touch control provides access to a smartphones’ voice assistant technology.

They’re now available for $199.
