Broan Hosts Training Camp

Broan-NuTone, makers of Best brand range hoods and ventilation fans, based here, recently held a series of “All Star” product training camps in Denver, Los Angeles, Orlando and Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia session alone drew more than 120 attendees from Northeastern dealers and distributors, who came to learn about the importance of proper kitchen ventilation and the Best product line, the company said.

“The All Stars training camps are a success because they provide dealers and distributors with important information about kitchen ventilation that allows them to assist consumers in making good buying decisions,” said retail sales director Chris Kroeninger. “With this information, they also are able to retain their sales force and increase their bottom lines.”

Philadelphia attendees included Fretz, with showrooms in Philadelphia and Columbia, Md.; Clarke Distribution, with showrooms in Milford, Mass., and South Norwalk, Conn.; Westye Group East, with showrooms in Pine Brook, N.J., and Manhattan and Roslyn Heights, N.Y.; Westye Group Midwest, located in Glendale Heights, Ill.; E. A. Holsten, with showrooms in Richmond, Va.; and Modern Kitchens of Syracuse, with showrooms in Syracuse, Albany and Buffalo, N.Y.

The camps were comprised of four training sessions covering the importance and selection of kitchen ventilation, the versatility of the Best Pro-Style and Fashion Series, solutions for hidden ventilation in today’s homes, and a comparison of marketplace ventilation products based on power, rate of air movement and ease of cleaning.
