The $499/pair JBL Control X Wireless Bluetooth-speaker pair consists of two two-way speakers that deliver traditional passive shelf-speaker quality for in-home or outdoor use. Each speaker can be used individually or combined wirelessly into a left-right pair to widen the soundstage. Up to four speakers can be used at once without any cables running between each speaker.
The active speakers’ rechargeable battery delivers up to five hours of use, and the IPX-3 water-resistance rating allows for versatile outdoor use.
