Bell’O Is Acquired By Twin-Star International

DELRAY BEACH, FLA. – Bell’O International has been sold to home-furnishings manufacturer Twin-Star International. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bell’O, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Morganville, N.J., manufactures and markets A/V furniture, accessories, hometheater seating, beds, upholstery and desks. The Bell’O Digital brand produces CE accessories such as headphones, A/V cables, TV mounts and surge-protection devices. Bell’O also markets a collection of Sertabrand metal beds and frames.

Founded in 1996, Twin-Star International, based here, is an award-winning manufacturer of furniture and is best known for its Classic- Flame electric fireplaces. The company’s home-furnishings brand lineup also includes Duraflame, Chimney-free and Pro Electric fireplaces, Tresanti media consoles, refrigerated wine cabinets, kitchen islands and beverage curios, Black & Decker, and Luxe bathroom furniture.

“Bell’O has a long-standing reputation for superior design and quality products, making for an excellent fit with Twin-Star’s strategy and our existing product lines,” said Robert Cohen, Twin-Star’s CEO.

Bell’O CEO Marc Sculler commented: “We began partnering with Twin-Star earlier this year to bring our customers the industry’s best electric fireplaces. That relationship proved to be so successful that we immediately saw additional opportunities to leverage our combined strengths and work together for the benefit of our customers.”

Twin-Star will exhibit Bell’O products at this month’s High Point Furniture market, a first for the Bell’O brand.
