Audio-Technica Debuts Headphones

Stow, Ohio – Audio-Technica introduced its ATH-ANC7b headphones
today, featuring 85 percent noise cancellation.

The
over-the-ear headphones reportedly provide smoother, richer and more natural
tonal balance; clear, high-resolution sound, with impactful bass; a detailed
midrange; and extended treble and accurate imaging in an immersive soundfield.

The
headphones feature QuietPoint active noise-cancellation technology – a
miniature microphone in each ear cup detects environmental noise, and a
corresponding sound-cancelling signal is applied, said the company. The
frequency response is 10Hz to 25,000Hz, with 109dB sensitivity, and 40 mm
neodymium-magnet drivers are used.

Audio-Technica
also said it has redesigned the ear cups for additional comfort. Other features
include two 1.6-meter and 1-meter detachable cables, an airline adapter, a
0.25-inch adapter and a carrying case.

They will
be available in August for a $219 suggested retail.
