Energy Expands Power Series

Energy expanded its Energy Power series of speakers with two compact powered subwoofers, joining a multimedia speaker system and two active soundbars.

The Klipsch-owned brand also plans sometime next year to add affordable passive speakers to the Power series, which is focused on more affordable alternatives to the brand’s Veritas and Connoisseur speaker series.

The Energy Power 10 and Energy Power 12 subwoofers will retail for a suggested $199 and $299, respectively, and will be available in stores in July.

Procella Adds Wall Speaker

Procella has developed a vertical version of its horizontal P6 compact wall-mount L/C/R speaker for consumers who want a more traditional-looking home-theater speaker.

The new two-way P6V is the company’s first vertically oriented wall-mount speaker, joining a horizontal on-wall speaker and an almost-square on-wall speaker. The company also offers very tall floor standing speakers intended for placement behind a projection screen.

At a suggested $1,599 each, the P6V features the same price and specs as its horizontal sister.

Sonance Adds In-Walls

Sonance shipped its next generation of Invisible-series in-wall speakers, promoted as delivering a higher SPL and deeper bass response than competing models and offering full fidelity even when covered by up to 3mm-deep topping compound, wallpaper or plaster.

The four-speaker lineup consists of the IS2 two-way at a suggested $1,100/pair, the IS4 three-way at $1,600/pair, the IS4SST singlespeaker three-way stereo speaker at $900 each, and the ISW subwoofer at $600 each.
