Gaming On Wheels is game entertainment center from Atlantic that also is a storage case and portable case. The all-in-one multi-functional unit is designed to be both a central gaming center that stores all gaming essentials, and a “savvy” travel case for wheeling favorite gaming consoles to a from friends’ houses.
Made of stamped aluminum and black-molded EVA, Gaming On Wheels is roomy enough to hold one console, four controllers, all wires and hoop-ups, 20 games and six memory cards, said Atlantic. The case is said to be reminiscent of the heavy-duty instrument storage bands used on the road, yet is still light enough for gamers as young as seven to tote,
The product, at a suggested $69.99 retail, is equipped with straps for fit and security, and the console compartment is cushioned to absorb any shock during transport. It offers a hinged lid that allows for ventilation while the console is in use. Gamers need only extend the handle and pull away when ready to move.
Availability is scheduled for March 2006 and the unit will make its debut in January at the 2006 International CES.
