Narwal has announced the Freo Z10 Turbo, a new robot vacuum and mop that brings several technologies previously reserved for the company’s flagship lineup into the midrange category.

The Freo Z10 Turbo is scheduled to launch in the U.S. on May 18 and carries an MSRP of $899.99.

One of the key additions is Narwal’s CarpetFocus Technology, which is appearing outside the company’s premium models for the first time. The system automatically raises the mop when carpet is detected while lowering a brush cover intended to create a sealed airflow zone that improves suction efficiency on carpeted surfaces.

The robot also includes a Carpet Max Mode with dual-pass zigzag cleaning designed to clean carpet fibers from multiple directions.

Narwal said the Freo Z10 Turbo delivers up to 25,000 Pa suction power, positioning it among the higher-powered models in its category. The unit also incorporates the company’s SGS-certified DualFlow Tangle-Free System, designed to reduce hair tangling in homes with pets or long hair.

For hard floors and corners, the robot uses Narwal’s EdgeReach Mop System, which extends the mop to clean closer to baseboards and edges. The mop system applies 12N of downward pressure intended to improve stain removal performance.

Navigation combines tri-laser structured light obstacle avoidance with LDS radar mapping. Narwal highlighted the camera-free design, which may appeal to consumers seeking a privacy-focused alternative to camera-based navigation systems.

The Freo Z10 Turbo also includes an all-in-one docking station designed to automate maintenance tasks such as dust collection, mop washing and drying. According to Narwal, the dock can support up to 120 days of maintenance-free operation. The mop-cleaning system uses water temperatures ranging from 113°F to 140°F, depending on cleaning conditions, with sterilization temperatures reaching up to 167°F.

“High-end floor care should no longer be a luxury reserved for flagship budgets,” said Junbin Zhang, CEO of Narwal. “By bringing our flagship-level CarpetFocus Technology to the Freo Z10 Turbo and combining it with Narwal’s other exclusive innovations, we deliver a truly effortless cleaning experience across a wide range of floor types, but without the premium price tag. It proves that ‘mid-range’ no longer means ‘mid-performance’.”

The Freo Z10 Turbo represents Narwal’s first major robot vacuum release of 2026 and reflects ongoing competition in the robotic floor-care market, where manufacturers continue to push flagship-style features into lower-priced segments.
