Apple Clearing Up Watch Backlog

Cupertino, Calif. – Apple has begun tackling its backlog of Apple Watch orders, announcing that consumer orders placed through May for all models but one will ship to consumers in two weeks, when the company will also begin selling some models though Apple’s brick-and-mortar stores.

The only model not shipping in two weeks will be the 42mm space black stainless steel model with space black link bracelet.

In another sign that the company is ramping up production, Apple said the Watch will be available June 26 in Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan from the Apple Online Store, Apple’s retail stores and select authorized retailers. Apple Watch is currently available in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the U.K. and the U.S.
Apple Watch is available in three collections: Apple Watch Sport at $349 and $399; Apple Watch from $549 to $1,099; and Apple Watch Edition in rose or yellow 18-karat gold alloys starting at $10,000.

Customers who purchase from Apple get personal in-store or online setup help to customize and pair the Watch with their iPhone.
