Two new 900MHz wireless headphones from Acoustic Research, a Recoton company, allow the signal to travel through walls and floors, up to 300 feet from the transmitter, to deliver clear sound.
The new products — which bring sophisticated, stylish design and high-quality performance, in order to fulfill user demand for high-end audio products for literally endless wireless applications — include the AW721 wireless full-size stereo headphones and AW771 wireless deluxe stereo headphones with auto tuning.
With comfort and performance two primary concerns, the full-size ear cups in model AW721 feature a closed-back design for the listening privacy for the user and those nearby. Self-adjusting headband and leatherette ear pads provide added comfort and sound insulation. The transmitter serves both as a charger and a storage base when headphones are not being used. Suggested retail is $99.
The step-up model AW771 features easy-to-use push-button auto tuning. A padded, self-adjusting headband and oversized velvet ear pads provide unprecedented comfort, said Acoustic, even for prolonged use such as movie watching. Angled, swiveled ear cups adjust to the user’s head. Suggested retail is $119.
Both headphones are scheduled for June availability.
