WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CALIF. – Accessory Power is set to debut a line of action camera mounts and mounting accessories at next month’s IFA show in Berlin.
The USA Gear Action Mount series features a broad line of mounts, straps and monopods that include numerous adapters tailored for both action and compact cameras and camcorders.
Six mounts anchor the line with suction, helmet, zip, handlebar, flat adhesive and large adhesive models. In addition the line include wrist, chest and head straps.
Every mount and strap includes a tripod screw adapter, J-hook adapter and quick release technology, with the exception of the suction, zip and handlebar mounts. The tripod screw adapter works for universal compact cameras and camcorders while the Jhook adapter works with all action style cameras. The J-hook uses a three-pronged design to lock the camera in place while offering full articulation during filming. In addition, the flat adhesive mount includes a right-angle adapter allowing the photographer to switch angles of shots. The helmet strap includes an extensions arm to optimize point-of-view shooting.
The mounts will be available in Q3 through retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Newegg, Fry’s Electronics, Overstock, Buy.com, among others.
The USA Gear line features completely redesigned packaging, the company said, staying true to the black and gray color style of its existing accessory lines while adding a new orange and blue color scheme, coupled with numerous action sport environmental pictures. The box has been completely turned over to accommodate major retail packaging.
