ReelCharge Enters Charging Category With Factory-Direct Strategy, Premium Feature Set

Offers feature-rich products and advanced charging technologies without premium-tier pricing

A new player is entering the increasingly competitive mobile power and charging category with a strategy aimed at balancing premium performance with mainstream pricing. Seattle-based ReelCharge officially launches May 19 with a portfolio of more than 30 charging products spanning power banks, GaN wall chargers, wireless charging accessories, travel adapters and portable power solutions.

The company’s launch lineup focuses heavily on simplifying charging for both travel and everyday use through integrated and retractable cable designs that reduce cable clutter and eliminate the need for multiple chargers. The approach taps into growing consumer demand for portable, all-in-one charging solutions that support laptops, smartphones, tablets and wearable devices from a single accessory ecosystem.

Among the headline products debuting at launch is the ReelPro 200 Power Bank, a 27,000mAh portable battery featuring 200W output and a built-in 140W USB-C cable designed to support high-draw devices such as laptops and gaming handhelds. Also featured is the company’s ReelSafe 5,000mAh Solid-State Power Bank, which utilizes next-generation solid-state battery architecture intended to deliver enhanced safety, longevity and thermal stability compared to traditional lithium-ion designs.

ReelCharge is also introducing a range of retractable cable GaN wall chargers spanning 40W to 140W power output. The chargers are designed to reduce cable management frustrations while leveraging gallium nitride technology for smaller form factors and higher charging efficiency. Additional products include compact wireless charging power banks ranging from 5,000mAh to 10,000mAh, along with a 5-in-1 folding wireless charging stand featuring integrated cables and universal watch charging compatibility.

According to ReelCharge Co-Founder and Managing Partner Christopher Martinez, the company was created to address what he describes as longstanding compromises in the charging category.

“The charging category has conditioned consumers to expect tradeoffs,” Martinez said. “You either pay more for performance or settle for less. We built ReelCharge to change that—delivering high output, safer technology, and better design at a price that actually makes sense.”

The company says its factory-direct business model plays a central role in that value proposition, allowing ReelCharge to offer feature-rich products and advanced charging technologies without premium-tier pricing. The strategy mirrors a growing trend among emerging CE accessory brands looking to compete against established players through direct manufacturing relationships and streamlined distribution.

All ReelCharge products launching May 19 will carry a three-year warranty, positioning the brand aggressively in a category where warranty coverage often varies widely among competitors.

Beyond North America, ReelCharge says it plans to expand into the UK and European markets while broadening its portfolio into additional power categories, including portable power stations. The expansion strategy suggests the company is positioning itself not only within mobile accessories but also within the broader portable energy and power management space.

For retailers, ReelCharge’s launch arrives as demand for premium charging solutions continues to rise alongside the growing number of power-hungry mobile devices consumers carry daily. Integrated cable designs, higher-wattage USB-C charging, and travel-friendly multi-device solutions remain among the strongest growth segments within the mobile accessory category.

ReelCharge products will be available beginning May 19 through the ReelCharge website, Amazon and select retail partners. For more information, go to www.reelcharge.com.
