Kanto Expands PMX Pro Series

New PMX900HD full-motion mount supports displays up to 140 inches and adds post-install vertical adjustment

Kanto Mounts has introduced the PMX900HD, the newest and largest model in its PMX Pro Series of full-motion TV mounts. Designed for residential home theaters and commercial installations, the mount supports displays ranging from 65 to 140 inches and weighing up to 275 pounds.

The PMX900HD’s distinguishing feature is a built-in post-install vertical adjustment system that allows installers to raise or lower a mounted display by up to 2 inches after installation. The adjustment is intended to simplify final alignment when positioning a television inside a recessed media wall or above a center-channel speaker, eliminating the need to remount the display.

The mount also offers up to 22 inches of horizontal offset, 33 inches of extension for increased swivel range and access to rear connections, and support for VESA mounting patterns up to 1000 x 700. When fully retracted, the mount sits 2.7 inches from the wall, while an extra-wide wall plate is designed to span up to three 16-inch wall studs for added support.

“Large format installs have always had a gap – you do everything right, mount the TV, and then realize it’s an inch too high or not quite centered over the speaker. The PMX900HD closes that gap. You can dial in the final position after the TV is already on the wall, which changes the experience entirely for installers and end users alike,” said Brett Smalley, Director of Marketing at Kanto Living.

The PMX900HD joins the existing PMX Pro Series lineup, which includes the PMX660 for displays up to 80 inches, the PMX700 for displays up to 100 inches, and the PMX800 for displays up to 120 inches. Like the other models in the series, the PMX900HD features a toolless tilt mechanism, all-metal cable management, and a heavy-duty steel construction. Vertical post-install adjustment is exclusive to the new flagship model.

Additional features include:

  • Supports displays from 65 to 140 inches and up to 275 pounds.
  • Post-install vertical adjustment of up to 2 inches.
  • Horizontal offset of up to 22 inches for improved centering.
  • Extension up to 33 inches for wider swivel angles and cable access.
  • Retracted depth of 2.7 inches from the wall.
  • Wall plate designed to span up to three 16-inch studs.
  • Toolless tilt adjustment with locking mechanism.
  • Integrated all-metal cable management and lag bolt covers.

The PMX900HD is available through Kanto’s authorized dealers and distributors. Visit kantomounts.com for more information.
