MIXX’s medical devices division, Assistive Audio, has announced the launch of a new range of Personal Noise Protection Earplugs. The first products in the range are designed to protect against hearing loss during sleep and on flights. All earplugs are crafted from hypoallergenic, medical-grade silicone to prevent any irritation during extended use. Flanged tips provide a secure fit, and all models are available in small, medium, and large sizes. Each model comes with a spring-loaded carrying case, and meets the EN 352 hearing protection standard. The range is priced at $15-$25 via Amazon in a move to make hearing protection more affordable and available.
Flight Earplugs
Noise levels on flights can reach as high as 110 dB(A)* and with 80 dB and lower considered safe by NIOSH, exposing ears to this level of noise over short or long-haul flights can cause hearing damage. Flight Earplugs can help to combat this by giving users safer dB levels while flying and reducing the constant background noise to allow for full focus on reading a book or getting some sleep.
Effective noise reduction: Offering a balanced noise reduction level, these earplugs effectively minimize ambient cabin noise, helping when relaxing, sleeping, or focusing on any inflight reading. Designed to be comfortable, but also visible, so others will not disturb well deserved relaxation time.
Sleep Earplugs
Low profile design: Perfect for side sleepers as well as those who sleep on a back or front.
Superior noise reduction: With a noise reduction level of 27dB, Sleep Earplugs effectively block out disruptive sounds, from snoring to street noise, allowing for the luxury of uninterrupted sleep.
