Through its Acer Gadget subsidiary, PC maker Acer has tossed its chips into the suddenly crowded smart ring market with its inaugural titanium alloy FreeSense Ring, part of its Taipei Computex 2025 introductions.
The Gadget group also showcased its Acer AI TransBuds to provide real-time translation for 15 languages across the Americas, Asia, and Europe. And, for smarter personal mobility, Acer Gadget also revealed new smart e-scooters and e-bikes featuring app-based monitoring and smart safety features.
Smart Rings and Earbuds

Equipped with advanced biometric sensing to support everyday health monitoring, the Acer FreeSense Ring tracks heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality, all analyzed through a companion mobile app that generates personalized wellness insights, sleep stage analysis, and continuous tracking to encourage proactive health management – all without additional subscription fees.
FreeSense Ring is IP68 water resistant and is available in seven sizes, 7 to 13, in matt rose gold and glossy black finishes.

Acer Gadget’s lightweight (2.3 oz.) earhook-style AI TransBuds connect to a smartphone or tablet via a plug-in receiver to produce real-time, two-way AI voice speech recognition and semantic analysis translations. Supporting live captioning and transcription, the AI TransBuds allow wearers to follow conversations in real time and review them afterward.
Getting Around Smartly

Also on display at its Computex booth were Acer Gadget’s latest e-scooters and e-bikes for both commuting and recreation, including the Acer eScooter Series 4 Select, Series 5 Select, Predator ES Storm, and Predator ES Thunder, each equipped with 400 W to 500 W motors, adaptive brakes, and suspension systems. Riders can seamlessly monitor performance and manage security settings via Acer’s eMobility App.
Acer Gadget also exhibited its Predator eRanger, a fat-tire e-bike first introduced at the Taipei Cycle Show 2025 earlier this year.
