ENGO Debuts engo3 Smart Glasses For Runners

New lightweight AR glasses from ENGO feature easy data tracking for runners

Smart glasses specialist ENGO has launched the engo3, its latest generation of light AR glasses specifically adapted to the needs of runners. ENGO’s light AR technology enhances runners’ experience with a brand-new, customizable interface (via the companion app) that displays information in real time within their field of vision: heart rate, pace, cadence, and more.

The engo3 features a wide-lens mask for greater immersion and a more secure fit. Essential metrics are projected directly into the runner’s natural line of sight, approximately 3 meters ahead of them, for instant tracking of around 40 data points. With adaptive brightness exceeding 3000 cd/m2 (nits), the engo3 offers readability in both direct sunlight and shade, while operating with up to 20 hours of battery life. The MultiColor (RYG) display and optional photochromic lenses automatically adapt to variations in light, allowing runners to train in all conditions, with or without sun, day or night.

With its new engo companion app, the engo3 syncs directly with smartphones and smartwatches, including Garmin and Apple Watch, to offer a fully personalized running experience. Users can choose the data displayed based on their type of run (endurance, interval training, race, etc.) and view only the most relevant information.
