Hauppauge, N.Y. — A song extolling the virtues of 808 Audio’s Hex Bluetooth speakers will be the anthem of the “Vegas Season” ad campaign launched by the city of Las Vegas, 808 announced.
The “Hex” track was written and recorded by producer and DJ Audien “to connect with 808 Audio’s consumers and Las Vegas visitors,” the company said.
“My intention with ‘Hex’ was to produce a track that would sonically showcase the impressive capability of the 808 speakers,” said Audien.
The track was named after 808’s first line of portable wireless Bluetooth speakers, which join the brand’s headphones. The track “celebrates our growing relationship with the EDM [electronic dance music] community,” said 808 Audio president David Geise. Las Vegas “has truly embraced the EDM space as we have,” he said.
The brand was “conceived from the roots of dance music” and is positioned as offering “great audio performance at affordable prices,” the company said.
The 808 Audio brand was established in 2011 by Voxx Accessories, a wholly owned subsidiary of Voxx International.
