Speck designed the Presidio CLEAR case, a hallmark of its Presidio line, to be 20 percent less bulky than its predecessor without sacrificing protection. In fact, Presidio CLEAR is one of Speck’s most protective cases to date, with drop protection up to 8 feet. Presidio CLEAR has a two-layer, one-piece construction made with IMPACTIUM CLEAR, a proprietary, dynamic material created to keep smartphones safe while maintaining their intended design aesthetic. The hard exterior layer disperses shock on impact, and the interior is lined with IMPACTIUM CLEAR, which absorbs shock and redirects force away from the device. These two layers work together to protect the phone against drops up to 8 feet, which is especially important as more phones are built with breakage-prone glass panels.
