Samsung Connect is a simple way to connect, control and monitor all your devices from one single app, bringing the power of home automation into every aspect of your home and life. Featuring a clean and user-friendly interface, the Samsung Connect app seamlessly gives users the ability to check the status of their devices on a single dashboard, where settings can be changed all from one screen. Users are able to control multiple devices via personalized rules, as well as set up customized modes to negate the need to perform multiple tasks individually. For instance, “morning mode” can turn on lights and begin playing music, while “movie mode” can dim lights and turn on surround sound speakers. All modes are stored in users’ Samsung Connect profile, which can be shared with family members or roommates for simple management. Samsung Connect works with a majority of Samsung devices as well as most of SmartThings compatible devices. Samsung Connect comes pre-loaded on the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ and will soon be available on other Android devices.
