OREM, UT, July 20, 2015 – Vantage, the leader in lighting and comfort control systems for luxury spaces, released a custom solution in response to the discontinuation of the Savant® LiteTouch® business on July 13, 2015. The release consists of an insert panel (part # LT2VA); a kit with controller and enclosure (part # LT2VA-Kit); and custom Capri replacement keypads.
Vantage’s InFusion LiteTouch Retrofit Insert is UL listed and specially designed to fit into a LiteTouch/Savant enclosure right out of the box. Using existing LiteTouch wiring, customers can easily replace LiteTouch keypads with Vantage keypads through their current electrical boxes and wiring. There will be no need to drill retrofit holes, and no additional costs or time to add new wires for minimal disruption to existing LiteTouch customers.
Customers who apply this retrofit can expect similar or even improved reliability from their system. From there, they can easily expand to additional Vantage solutions using either wired or wireless options.
“This retrofit solution from Vantage allows our customers to quickly and simply upgrade or replace a current LiteTouch/Savant panelized dimming solution with minimal effort,” said Andrew Wale, vice president of marketing for Vantage. “It also enables continuity of user experience without interruption of service today and into the future.”
The InFusion LiteTouch Retrofit Insert can house up to three separate control modules or up to 36 loads per enclosure. This insert features terminal blocks for improved in-field plug-and-play installation and service, allowing modules to be easily replaced without affecting load connections to the system. It also comes with the best-in-industry, 5-year warranty and is backed by industrial-giant Legrand, with $6 billion in revenue and more than 20,000 employees worldwide.
