City of Industry, CA – December 14, 2015 – EZVIZ ™ Inc., a California-based Wi-Fi cloud camera and video surveillance solutions manufacturer, is pleased to announce Rod St. Michel as the new senior director, consumer sales, for EZVIZ. With over twenty years of experience in the consumer technology space, Mr. St. Michel will work to develop EZVIZ’s key relationships with customers and partners in North America, and focus on the storefront and online retail presence.
Prior to joining the EZVIZ team, Mr. St. Michel served as head of consumer sales for Sling Media, a division of Echostar Corporation. There, he helped harness an iconic brand and increased distribution by over 4000 outlets. Before joining Sling Media, Mr. St. Michel was vice president of sales for D-Link, where he rebuilt the consumer sales organization and successfully launched an IP camera lineup that garnered 40% of consumer share in less than two years.
Mr. St. Michel has proven adept at launching new technology into the consumer space, with an emphasis on strong growth in new categories. His retail background began with Hewlett-Packard and quickly progressed with impactful stops at Netgear, Linksys and Sonos, all of which included groundbreaking product launches in what has now become the connected home category.
