The Turtles And SiriusXM To Dispute ‘Happy Together’ Copyright In NY Top Court

The dispute concerns whether the copyright owners of recordings made before 1972  have a common-law right to make radio stations and others pay for their songs.

“The decision comes more than a year after Sirius reached a $210 million settlement with a group of record companies over pre-1972 music.”
