Senior T-Mobile execs said the Magenta carrier will open 400 more T-Mobile stores, for a total of 4,000, and will expand its prepaid MetroPCS chain to 9,000 locations, all by year's end. The real estate will include new geographies now reached by T-Mo's burgeoning 700 MHz spectrum buildout (band 12 extended-range LTE), and will also backfill existing markets. The company also hopes to grab additional market share and new carrier converts this fall with the rollout of iPhone 7.
