Northern Lights graced the Northland Skies (video)

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)— Duluth was graced by the Northern Lights Tuesday night. Local photographer Douglas Kiesling caught the Northern Lights filling the sky over Lake Superior. The Aurora Borealis is the result of collisions between gaseous particles in the earth's atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere.
