Incidents of iPhone 8 Plus phones separating at the seams due to due expanding batteries are cropping up around the world. According to numerous reports, customers in China, Japan, Tawain, Greece and Canada have experienced popped phablet enclosures in what could be a replay of Samsung's Galaxy Note7 debacle. Apple is investigating the reports.
"There have been at least six separate reports of iPhone 8 Plus batteries swelling to the point of splitting open their enclosures since the phones first went on sale on Sept. 22."
