iPhone 8 Facing Production Delays

"Reports of delays and production difficulties have been plentiful for the iPhone 8, and it doesn't seem like things are going to get much better. KGI's Ming-Chi Kuo is out with a new report this evening in which he says that there's a "rising probability" of the "worst scenario" for production and shipments of the device."

A new report by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo confirms earlier indications that supply shortages will hamper production of Apple's forthcoming mobile flagship iPhone 8. Kuo said difficulty supplying the handset's new custom components, including a new OLED panel, A11 processor and 3D sensing cameras, could push back production from an August-September ramp-up to as late as October or November, stifling shipments by as much as 20 million units.
