Fitch Ratings exec David Silverman says in-store pick-ups of online purchases are boosting Best Buy's foot traffic. The option, implemented relatively recently, accounts for about one-third of online sales, he estimates, and is often chosen by customers who are concerned that deliveries left outside their doors will be accessible to thieves.
