President Obama pushed the FCC to adopt net neutrality, and now his policy could turn out to be anti-consumer. In the end, T-Mobile might have to drop its program of giving consumers access to unlimited audio and video streams from select services. T-Mobile has invited any and all audio and video streaming services to join in its program.
“The Federal Communications Commission said on Thursday it asked major Internet providers to answer questions on policies aimed at offering consumers free data by using preferred services and whether they violate the government’s net neutrality rules.“
The government is looking at whether AT&T, Comcast, and T-Mobile are violating net neutrality rules.
