FCC rejects Sirius objection to Verizon, T-Mobile swap

Commission, however, says Sirius could pursue its complaint  about  T-Mobile AWS-band interference with some satellite radios through a different FCC proceeding, so the issue is far from resolved.

“‘The FCC has rejected an objection from satellite radio operator Sirius XM to the transfer of AWS and PCS spectrum licences between Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile. Sirius filed its objection in August, citing concerns about interference from T-Mobile’s AWS operations to some subscribers’ service in large urban markets.’
