Casper, The Online Mattress King, Is Getting Physical

Online bedding competitor Casper is taking it to the street, giving independent dealers that depend on mattress margins cause for concern. After opening in-store shops at West Elm last year, and signing a similar deal this summer with Target, the sleep resource said it will open 15 pop-up stores in major metro areas across the continent this fall, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Mere weeks after launching a new butt-supporting mattress design, Casper has announced a gasp-worthy gambit to further change up the mattress industry: brick and mortar stores.
