CBS CEO Les Moonves confirmed that Apple's plans for a live, Internet-based TV service have been put "on hold." A source told Bloomberg that content providers balked at Apple's low-ball offer, and that the tech giant will instead focus on being a platform for media companies to sell their programming direct to consumers via Apple's App Store.
