Customers at 31 U.S. Apple stores (and 15 more overseas) can now experience what it's like to turn on lights, lower shades and control ceiling fans by telling or tapping the company's phones, tablets and watches, albeit virtually. The new Apple HomeKit sections employ interactive window displays called "The Avenue," which debuted at the San Francisco Union Square last year.
